Petitioner's grievance is that proceedings under Section 6A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') initiated against the petitioner by the 2nd respondent on 30.11.2015 are not being disposed of by the 2nd respondent till date.

2. The Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will complete the proceedings under Section 6A of the Act within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to complete the proceedings under Section 6A of the Act within two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
