THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE P.MADHAVI DEVI W.P. No.29083 of 2022 ORDER:

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, seeking to count the past service rendered by the petitioner as Panchayat Secretary during the period from 13.06.2002 to 31.01.2019 while effecting promotion to the next higher post i.e., Panchayat Secretary Gr.II and Gr.I including Mandal Panchayat Officer.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made representation to the second respondent and the 4th respondent has also sent a proposal to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. 3.

However, the respondent No.2 had not taken any decision thereon.

The learned Government Pleader for services-II takes notice and submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the concerned authorities.

Having regard to the fact that the 4th respondent has also made proposal for consideration of the petitioner's representation, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider the proposal sent by respondent No.4 and also the representation made by the petitioner within a period of (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
