Heard Mr.V.V.Ramana Rao for petitioners and the Assistant Government Pleader (Revenue) for respondents. The petitioner prays for the following relief: "....this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents No.1 to 4 in not issuing Pattedar/Ownership/Pattedar Passbooks and Title Deeds to the petitioners in respect of their lands to an extent of Ac.0.10 guntas, Ac.1.15 guntas, 0.35 guntas, 0.35 guntas, 0.35 guntas and Ac.1.25 guntas respectively totally Ac.5.35 guntas in Sy.No.320/A of Baswapur Village, Thangallapalli Mandal, Rajanna Sircilla District (Old Karimnagar District) as illegal, arbitrary, void and violation of Articles 31 and 300A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents No.1 to 4 to issue ownership/pattedar passbooks and title deeds to the petitioners in respect of above petitioners' lands in their favour in accordance with their respective shares and to pass...."

The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the respondents would consider the request of petitioners, examine the whole issue, take a decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within four weeks from today. The statement is placed on record.

I have perused the record. Since the prayer is restricted to inaction, to meet the ends of justice and to give finality to a pending issue, the Court directs the respondents to examine the whole issue, take a decision and communicate the same to petitioner within four weeks from today.

It is, however, made clear that this Court has not considered the issue on merits. It is for the respondents to consider merits of law and fact and pass orders.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as indicated above. There shall be no order as to costs.
