ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

According to petitioners, first petitioner owns land to an extent of Ac.5.02 in Survey No. 122/A/1 and second petitioner owns land to an extent of Ac.1.00 in Survey No. 80/B/2 and Ac.1.23 guntas in Survey No.

81/B/1, Neelikurthy village, Maripeda mandal, Mahabubabad district. Grievance of the petitioners is that with reference to first petitioner land to an extent of Ac.0.38 guntas and with reference to second petitioner land to an extent of Ac.0.20 guntas in Survey No.80/B/2 and total extent of Ac.1.23 guntas in Survey No. 81/B/1 was removed in the revenue records and pattadar pass books are not issued to them.

From the material on record, it appears that petitioners have been agitating about exclusion of their names with reference to portion of land and not issuing pattadar passbooks. From the letter of the District Collector dated 2.8.2019 addressed to Revenue Divisional Officer and Tahsildar (filed as Ex.P1), it appears that even District Collector was not happy on his subordinates on not furnishing the information as desired by him long ago and called for explanation and asked to submit report forthwith. However, so far, grievance of the petitioners is not redressed, causing lot of hardship and suffering to them. Copy of the representation dated 5.8.2019 addressed to the District Collector is filed as material paper at page 17 of the paper book of the writ petition. 4.

Having regard to the grievance of the petitioners as ventilated in several representations including representation dated

5.8.2019 and letter of the District Collector dated 2.8.2019, the District Collector is directed to take immediate steps to ensure that the grievance of the petitioners is redressed with reference to reflection of total extent of land claimed by them in respective survey numbers and with reference to issuance of pattedar pass books. The entire exercise shall be completed and suitable reply shall be furnished by the competent authority monitored by the District Collector within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
