THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.5919 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.29 of 2017 of Guntakal I Town Police Station, Anantapuram, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, r/ w 34 IPC.

After arguing the matter for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1 In view of the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the Police of Guntakal I Town Police Station, Anantapuram, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar's case referred supra.

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
