When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, in spite of the fact that the writ petition is listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

A perusal of the record discloses that this Court was pleased to grant interim direction on 18.12.2008 and with the passing of the interim direction, the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been resolved. In view of the same, this Court is of the considered view that this writ petition can be closed.
