The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the police authorities were not taking action in Crime No.264 of 2010 registered on the file of the Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad City. The Inspector of Police, Langer House Police Station, filed a counter-affidavit in June, 2015 stating that upon the complaint dated 21.08.2010 made by the petitioners, Crime No.264 of 2010 was registered under Sections 341, 380 and 506 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. on the file of Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad. After completion of the investigation, a charge sheet was laid before the learned VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad, and the same was taken on file vide C.C.No.652 of 2012. The case was said to be at trial stage. Copy of the charge sheet is also placed on record.

In the light of the afore-stated facts, the grievance of the petitioners as to the alleged inaction of the police authorities is shown to be without basis. The consequential prayer of the petitioners for

compensation cannot be acceded to at this stage when the competent criminal court is seized of the matter. In any event, such relief cannot be sought before this Court in a writ petition. The writ petition is therefore dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
