THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.6080 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings initiated against the petitioners/A-3 and A-4 in C.C.No.325 of 2013 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Wanaparthy, arising out of Crime No.64 of 2013 of Pebbair Police Station, Mahabubnagar registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. After arguing for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioners, while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court.

In any event, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the presence of the petitioners herein before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is specifically required for the purpose of framing of charges, examination under Section 313 Cr.P.C. and on the date of pronouncement of judgment and the petitioners shall be properly represented by their counsel.

With the above observation, this criminal petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
