This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing the notice dated 29.12.2014 intimating that the petitioner is due for retirement by 31.03.2015. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents produced before this Court a copy of the Memo dated 04.08.2016 issued by the 1st respondent directing continuance of the petitioner in service till 30.11.2022 based on the doctor's certificate. In view of the continuance of the petitioner in service till 30.11.2022, the learned Counsel for the petitioner does not want to prosecute the case.
