This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'the CrPC') by the petitioner/A1 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.567 of 2015 of the VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad taken cognizance for the offence punishable under Section 494 of I.P.C., which is outcome of the report of 2nd respondent-defacto-complainant in Crime No.211 of 2015 of Chaderghat Police Station, Hyderabad against the petitioner and others, who are family members of A1.
2. The defacto complainant filed a petition Crl.P.M.P.No.9923 of 2015 seeking to permit her to compound the offence registered under Section 494 of IPC against A1 in the said Calendar Case and discharge A1 and a joint memo of compromise is filed in another petition Crl.P.M.P.No.9924 of seeking permission for compromise in the matter. The parties stated that they wanted to purchase peace and they have settled their disputes outside the Court.
3. Having regard to the above, to sub-serve the ends of justice by invoking Section 482 of Cr.P.C. permission is accorded and Crl.P.M.P.Nos. 9923 and 9924 of 2015 are ordered and the offence supra is compounded.
4. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.567 of 2015 of the VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioner, if any, shall stand cancelled.
5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
