The grievance of the petitioner was that police authorities were not taking action against the unofficial respondents despite complaint having been made on 15.12.2015.

2. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Pahadisharif Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, furnished written instructions to the office of the learned Government Pleader stating that on the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.12.2015, which had been received by post, Crime No.481 of 2015 was registered on the file of Pahadisharif Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, under Sections 498A, 420 and 506 IPC. Investigation was stated to be at the preliminary stage and the police authorities undertook to complete the investigation expeditiously and file an appropriate report before the competent Court under Section 123(2) Cr.P.C.

3. In the light of the aforestated developments, the grievance of the petitioner as to the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities stand settled.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
