ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/R2 to R6 seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.6 of 2012 on the file of VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal, against them.

2. It is alleged that the marriage of the second respondent herein was performed with the first respondent in DVC on 19.02.2010 and subsequently, the first respondent with the support of the petitioners-respondents 2 to 6 used to harass her mentally and physically by demanding additional dowry of Rs.1 lakh and suspecting her character and they also used to beat her without any reason.

3. In view of the allegations mentioned in the complaint and also the nature of proceedings, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the interim order passed by this Court on 24.02.2014 dispensing with the presence of the petitioners-respondent Nos.2 to 6 in D.V.C.No.6 of 2012 except on the dates whenever their presence is specifically required by the Court, shall continue till disposal of D.V.C.No.6 of 2012.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
