ORAL ORDER:

Writ petition was filed challenging the termination order as Anganwadi Worker. Petitioner has right of appeal against the said termination order and right of appeal was availed by the time writ petition was filed.

Learned counsel for petitioner sought leave of the Court to raise additional grounds in the appeal already submitted by the petitioner. The writ petition was disposed of by order dated 5.2.2016 granting liberty to the petitioner to raise additional grounds within one week from the date of receipt of copy of the order and further directions are issued to dispose of the appeal. Alleging inaction and disobedience of the directions of this Court, this Contempt Case is filed. 2.

Counter affidavit is filed by the first respondent. Along with the counter affidavit, copy of proceedings No. 440/A3/2017 dated 28.6.2017 of the District Collector is filed rejecting the request of the petitioner. Since order is already passed, it cannot be said that respondents have violated the directions of this Court, warranting initiation of proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act. 3.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies, if so advised, against the order dated 28.6.2017, contempt case is closed. No costs. ______________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE:6.10.2017 TVK
