This writ petition is filed assailing the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 17.07.2017.

In this writ petition, the petitioner complains about the discrimination in the matter of imposing punishment, which aspect can be raised before the appellate authority, by way of an appeal. When the same is pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with a liberty to avail alternate remedy of appeal before the appellate authority. Permission is accorded.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to file appeal before the appellate authority by raising all the issues and the appellate authority is directed to consider the same.

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
