This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad to dispose of C.C.No.283 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor representing the State.

The petitioner is facing trial in C.C.No.283 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Section 498-A and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad is hereby directed to dispose of C.C.No.283 of 2013, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
