HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE CHILLAKUR SUMALATHA CRIMINAL PETITION No.6173 of 2022 ORDER:

Heard the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner.

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the condition imposed by the learned XI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District, in Cr.M.P.No.49 of 2022 in Crl.A.No.80 of 2022 and enlarge the petitioner on bail by suspending the sentence imposed by the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Shadnagar, vide judgment in C.C.No.522 of 2015, dated 23.05.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while disposing of the Criminal Appeal, the appellate Court, through the impugned judgment, directed the petitioner to deposit 20% of the amount awarded as compensation. Learned counsel further submits that the time granted was expired by 21.07.2022 and, therefore,

Dr.CSL, J CrlPNo.6173 of 2022 no further orders are required, except extension of time to make the deposit.

Having considered the submission made, this Court is of the view that it is desirable to extend the period for deposit of amount as ordered by the appellate Court for a period of 2 weeks.

In the result, this Criminal Petition is disposed of granting two more weeks time i.e. till 03.08.2022 for making deposit of 20% of the amount awarded as compensation, as ordered by the trial Court.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
