Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.
2. Petitioners' grievance is that even though they filed an application on 10.08.2015 to 3rd respondent for grant of Pattadar Passbook and Title Deed in respect of their land, no order has been passed by the 3rd respondent till date.
3. The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the application has to be made to the 4th respondent in Form 6A as prescribed under the A.P. Rights in lands and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 for issuance of Pattadar Passbook and Title Deed.
4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to make fresh application in the prescribed form under the above Act to the 4th respondent within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; on receipt of such application, the 4th respondent shall dispose of the same within a period of eight (08) weeks thereafter, and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.
5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
