This writ petition is filed seeking Certiorari calling for the records of the 2nd respondent pertaining to the Notice No.4793/ Q/ Sand/ 2016, dated 08.11.2016 directing to pay a penalty of Rs.2,00,000/ -, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the purpose of filing of the writ petition has become infructuous.

Recording the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand dismissed.
