Apprehending that the respondents may appoint the 5th respondent as Village Revenue Assistant on compassionate grounds instead of notifying the said post, the present writ petition is filed. As per the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, as on today the official respondents have not filled up the post of Village Revenue Assistant with the 5th respondent on compassionate grounds. The writ petition, which is filed on mere apprehension, is not maintainable and the same is accordingly dismissed at the stage of admission. No costs.
