O R D E R
This court by order dated 07.03.2018 in W.P.No.7481 of 2018 permitted the petitioner herein to approach the appropriate forum of law seeking withdrawal of lookout circular issued against him. In pursuance of the said order, petitioner filed petition in Crl.M.P.No.750/2018 in C.C.No.90 of 2014 on the file of XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate cum Special Court for the Trial of Video Piracy Cases, Hyderabad, on 15.03.2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that his criminal petition is adjourned from time to time and presently posted to 18.06.2018, but no orders are being passed. Though this writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to withdraw the lookout circular issued against the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks for a direction to the trial court to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner, within certain period of time.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Standing Counsel for Central Government for respondents 1 to 3 and the Government Pleader for Home for respondents 4 to 6.
This court vide order dated 07.03.2018 in W.P.No.7481 of 2018 permitted the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum and the petitioner filed Crl.M.P.No.750 of 2018 in C.C.No.90 of 2014 seeking for a direction for withdrawal of lookout circular. In view of the order of this court dated 07.03.2018, it is expected of the trial court to dispose of the criminal miscellaneous petition filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. The copy of the docket sheet of the trial court filed in the material papers show that the matter is being adjourned from time to time. In view of these facts and circumstances and that now the matter stands posted to 18.06.2018, the trial court is directed to take up the above stated criminal petition and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
