The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the police authorities were not investigating Crime No.208 of 2011 registered on the file of Nallakunta Police Station, Hyderabad, and taking appropriate action against the 7th respondent herein. Though a miscellaneous petition was filed seeking amendment of the prayer whereby the petitioners sought entrustment of the investigation in the afore-stated crime to the Central Crime Station Police or CBCID, no steps were taken by them to pursue the same. Basing on the written instructions dated 07.07.2015 received from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Nallakunta Police Station, Hyderabad, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed this Court that Crime No.208 of 2011 was registered on the file of Nallakunta Police Station, Hyderabad, under Sections 406, 409, 418, 419 and 420 I.P.C., upon the private complaint made by the petitioners before the learned IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. However,

after due investigation, the police authorities filed a final report before the Court concerned on 29.11.2012 citing lack of evidence. Learned Assistant Government Pleader further stated that notice was also given to the petitioners/complainants.

In the light of the afore-stated developments, it is for the petitioners to take recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law in the event they are aggrieved by the final conclusion arrived at by the police authorities.

Reserving liberty to the petitioners to do so, the writ petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
