THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.GANGA RAO WRIT PETITION No.5564 OF 2001 ORDER:

The petitioner, who is a Part time Lecturer in Political Science Department in the respondent-college on an hourly basis, filed the writ petition challenging the notification dated 25.01.2000 published on 26.01.2000 in Indian Express filling up the vacancies, without considering the claim of the petitioner and without fixing the roster points and thereby the petitioner was deprived of his right of regularization in the existing vacancy.

The respondent-college filed counter stating that notification dated 31.08.2000 was not acted upon as the Andhra University, Waltair has not nominated the member which is required as per G.O.Ms.No.12, dated 16.06.1995 for selection of candidates. It is further stated that the impugned notification challenged by the writ petitioner has not being worked out and further no selection was made on the basis of the said advisement dated 31.08.2000.

In view of the aforesaid backdrop, no cause survives in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
