When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner is challenging the suspension orders and also charge memo dated 02.08.2002 and he has attained the age of superannuation during pendency of the writ petition. Learned standing counsel for the respondents has submitted that as the petitioner has retired from service, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
