The Court made the following:

HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner is a Field Assistant challenges the orders passed by the Mandal Parishad Development Officer, removing her from service.

2. Apart from other contentions, learned counsel for petitioner contended that Mandal Parishad Development Officer is not competent to pass orders of termination of Field Assistant and the Project Director is only the competent authority to pass such an order.

3. Learned counsel representing special counsel for respondents, on instructions, submits that the Mandal Parishad Development Officer is not competent to pass orders of removal of Field Assistant in accordance with the Field Assistant Human Resources Policy.

4. Having regard to the same, the order impugned is set aside and the writ petition is allowed. However, it is open to the competent authority to take appropriate action as warranted. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
