THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 22457 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not taking any action against respondent Nos.4 to 6 in Crime No.143 of 2015, dated 08.09.2015, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that though the crime was registered in the month of September, 2015, till date no final report is filed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that entire investigation is over and that the Inspector of Police has sent the same to the higher authorities, for approval of his report. 5.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to file a final report before the concerned Court, within a period of three to six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
