HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.19272 OF 2018 ORDER :

It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner filed appeal along with stay petition on 15.05.2018 against the order of the 2nd respondent in Proceedings No.R.Dis.C5/M/184/2007, dated 16.01.2018 cancelling the Caste Certificate of the petitioner, no orders are passed on the same. Aggrieved by the same, present Writ Petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits petitioner received notice stating that petitioner's appeal is admitted, but no orders are passed on the stay petition.

In view of the same, since the appeal is pending before the 1st respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal or stay petition filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possibly preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a coy of this order. Till disposal of appeal, there shall be stay of impugned proceedings of the 2nd respondent in R.Dis.No.C5/M/184/2007, dated 16.01.2018.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
