ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

According to petitioner, aggrieved by the orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer/3rd respondent dated 2.6.2018, he preferred revision before the Joint Collector and the same was numbered as F2/4305/2018 and notice was issued on 21.8.2018 to hold hearing on 1.9.2018. Petitioner alleges that so far revision proceedings are not finalized, causing hardship.

Having regard to the above submissions, writ petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing the Joint Collector-2nd respondent to dispose of revision petition expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, by affording due opportunity to respective parties, if the same is not already disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
