ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorari relating to and connected with the order dated 12.10.1999 passed in M.P.No.4 of 1984 by the Labour Court, Guntur and to quash or set aside the same by holding it as arbitrary and illegal.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the petitioner-Corporation submits that the respondent-workman, in whose favour, the order was passed by the Labour Court, had retired from service and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. He further contends that as per the Memo dated 24.04.1982, the respondent-workman was not entitled to any increments and the Labour Court has erroneously passed the order in favour of the respondentworkman. As can be seen from the record, the said Memo Dated 24.04.1982 is not filed before this Court. In the absence of the said Memo, even on merits, this writ petition cannot be adjudicated and this Court cannot reverse the findings of the

Labour Court and therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
