THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.24848 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in granting licence in Form-2B to run restaurant and bar at Madanapalle as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for grant of licence in Form-2B to run restaurant and bar at Madanapalle."

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner submitted representation, dated 30.06.2017, to the 2nd respondent, Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, but no action has been taken so far. Eventually, it is requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the 2nd respondent may be directed to take appropriate action on the said representation as per law.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the 2nd respondent will take appropriate action on the said representation in accordance with law. Recording the said submissions, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 30.06.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
