THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 22415 of 2019 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioners seek a Mandamus by way of issuing directions to respondent authorities not to renew the license pertaining to M/s. Sai Wines situated at Saipet, Lalapet, Secunderabad, as it is located within 100 meters of Mosque at Lalaguda.

In the writ affidavit, the petitioners asserted that they submitted before the second respondent - Commissioner, Prohibition and Excise, Hyderabad, a representation dated 19.09.2019 by setting out the reasons as to why the license of M/s. Sai Wines shall not be renewed.

In those circumstances, before renewing the license of M/s. Sai Wines, the second respondent shall take into consideration the representation dated 19.09.2019 said to have been filed by the petitioners.

Subject to the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
