HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.19363 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in continuing the rowdy sheet No.268 against the petitioner without there being valid reasons and despite there are no criminal cases against the petitioner. The case of the petitioner is that only one case was registered against the petitioner and after filing of charge sheet the same was numbered as Sessions Case No.376 of 2000 on the file of the Court of the Principal Assistant Sessions Judge at Anantapur; and that the said case was ended in acquittal by Judgment dated 01.11.2000. The petitioner also submitted representation dated 02.02.2018 to the respondents 2 and 3 to remove his name from the rolls of rowdy sheet, but the 2nd respondent has not taken any action to close the rowdy sheet No.278 against the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner also relied on the Judgment of this Court in K.Suresh babu v.

Superintendent of Police, Anantapur District 1. Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. Since already representation of the petitioner is pending, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the 1 2016 (1) ALD (Crl.) 210

said representation in terms of the aforesaid Judgment relied on by the petitioner in K.Suresh Babu's case and also the Judgment rendered by this Court in WP.No.45130 of 2017, dated 2.01.2018. No order as to costs.
