HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.22442 of 2019 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the 6th respondent has illegally dug a bore well in the patta land of the petitioner and obtained electricity service connection in the name of the 6th respondent. The petitioner has given a complaint to the respondents to disconnect the said illegal electricity service connection given to the 6th respondent. As the respondents have not taken any action on the complaint of the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, the respondents have inspected the subject land and having found that the 6th respondent has got illegal electricity service connection, disconnected the power supply to the said electricity service connection.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication, as the grievance of the petitioner has been resolved with the prompt action of the respondents by disconnecting the power supply to the 6th respondent's electricity service connection.
