Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned GP appearing for the respondents.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as follows: " ....to issue writ or direction preferably Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering and disposing of the representations submitted by the petitioner dt.17.6.2005 for allotment of land admeasuring 75 sq yards situated towards back side of SRT 30 (Municipal no. 1-1-379/ 22) situated at Jawaharnagar, Chikkadapally, Hyderabad as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent no.2 to consider and dispose of the said representation for allotment of subject land by virtue of G.O.Ms.No. 2 Labour Employment Training And Factories (LAB-III) Department dt. 31-1-2002 and G.O.Ms.no.166 Revenue (Assn. POT) Department dt.16.2.2008." 3.

During the course of arguments, learned GP brought to the notice of this Court that GO.Ms.No.166 Revenue (Assn. POT) Department dated 16.2.2008, the basis on which the representations have been submitted by the petitioner, has been withdrawn by the Government. As such, no cause would survive in the Writ Petition.

The said fact has not been disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that there re no merits in the Writ Petition.

According, the Writ Petition is dismissed.

However, the petitioner is given liberty to submit a representation to redress his grievance before the concerned

authority if any further orders are issued with regard to allotment of land.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
