THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.19492 of 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner, in the present Writ Petition, is the alleged inaction on the part of the fourth respondent herein, in passing orders on the application of the petitioner herein for grant of quarry lease over an extent of 1.085 Hectares in Sy.No.1055/1 of Vemula Village and Mandal, YSR Kadapa District.

A counter-affidavit, deposed by the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, Yerraguntla-fourth respondent herein, is filed and, at paragraph No.20 of the said counter, it is stated that the fourth respondent will dispose of the applications in accordance with the appropriate Rules in force and the petitioner's assumption that the fourth respondent is going to submit grant of the quarry lease proposals in favour of Sri V.V.Satish Kumar is not correct and premature but all the applications will be considered basing on their own merits. In view of the above said averment in the counteraffidavit, without going into the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents herein to process the application of the petitioner, dated 16.08.2016, for grant of quarry lease and to pass final orders, strictly in

accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
