HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 19059 of 2012 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Home. With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction inertia and total silence and gross negligence on the part of the respondents in the matter of the incident of ill treatment and attempt to murder upon petitioner at the hands of a government servant Mr.Subba Rao, Junior Clerk in the EQ wing in the commercial branch office in the Divisional Office of South Central Railways headed by the Divisional Railway Manager, South Central Railways, Vijayawada on 02.05.2012 as discernible from the contents mentioned in F.I.R.No.252 of 2012 of Satyanarayanapuram Police Station, Vijayawada, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the sixth respondent to consider his representation dated 06.05.2012.
Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the sixth respondent to dispose of the representation dated 06.05.2012, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
