THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 25700 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh).

The petitioners claim that they are the legal heirs of the land owners/pattadars of the agricultural lands, details of which have been shown in the tabular form mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition and who have been issued the pattadar pass books. While so, the petitioners have submitted Applications to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar, Guntur Mandal seeking to update their details in the Electronic Data System (on line) with respect to their lands in the Adangal and Pahani. Questioning the inaction on the part of the respondents, the present Writ Petition is filed. In the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent-authorities to consider the Applications said to have been filed by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with the law within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
