Heard the counsel for petitioners, the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for respondent nos.2, 3 and 5, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, for respondent nos.4 and 6, and Sri G. Narender Reddy, counsel for 7th respondent. 2.

The petitioners' grievance is that the respondents are proposing to bifurcate Koyalagudem Gram Panchayat by deleting some areas from it and merging them with Yallam Bavi Gram Panchayat, and that this is not permitted by the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.

The learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj, appearing for respondent nos.2, 3 and 5 states that if the petitioners submit a representation to respondent nos.3 and 4, the respondent nos.3 and 4 will take appropriate decision thereon as per the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018, and communicate their decision thereon to petitioners. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners herein to make a representation to respondent nos.3 and 4 herein about their grievance, and within four (04) weeks of submission of the said representation, the respondent nos.3 and 4 shall communicate their decision thereon to the petitioners. No order as to costs.
