HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.17846 of 2009 ORDER:

The consequential relief sought for in the Writ Petition is to direct the 1st respondent to extend affiliation to the petitioner-college for the academic year 2009-10, enabling them to be included in the process of counseling for admission into B.Ed. course scheduled to be held from 27.08.2009.

As the academic year 2009-10 expired seven years ago, it is evident that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
