HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

According to the petitioner, he was the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Ac.0.38 guntas in Sy.No.134 of Kondapur village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy district. According to petitioner, it is the patta land, but it is a dry and barren land and there was never a 'Kunta' in the said land. But, erroneously, at the instance of local people, said land in Sy.No.134 is referred as 'kunta' and on account of the same, prejudice is caused to the petitioner in dealing with his property. Therefore, petitioner made representation on 16.09.2019 to undertake remedial steps to reflect the status of the land correctly contending that there was never a 'kunta' on the subject land. 2.

According to the learned Government Pleader, the land is treated as patta land, but in the revenue records it is shown as 'Jangam Kunta Shikam'.

Be that as it may, the request made by the petitioner can be considered and factual position may be intimated to him. Though representation was addressed to the District Collector; the Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Development Authority; and the Municipal Commissioner, the competent authority is Tahsildar.

Therefore, petitioner is directed to furnish copy of representation dated 16.09.2019 to the Tahsildar. On furnishing the representation, the Tahsildar shall examine the claim of petitioner and on due verification of the claim of petitioner, pass appropriate orders as warranted by law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of representation. 4.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
