Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology, apart from perusing the material on record.

When the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court that, after seizure of the vehicle and after registration of Cr.No.103 of 2018, under Section 447, 427 and 379 IPC, the police authorities have produced the subject vehicle before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Naidupet on 07.05.2018.

In view of the above, leaving it open for the petitioner herein to file appropriate application before the learned Magistrate for release of the subject vehicle, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
