THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.10204 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the compensation to the petitioners for the lands acquired under Sy.No.175 of Lakkaram Village, Choutuppal Mandal, Nalgonda District for expansion of 4/6 laning road upgrading the National Highway road No.65 (Earlier N.H.No.9) from existing 2 land to 4 lane with divided carriage way from KM 40/1 to KM 62/290 from Hyderabad-Vijayawada Section in Nalgonda District, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioners as per the present market value considering their representations.

When the matter is listed on 06.06.2016 this Court ordered the learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent to ensure that payments are made to the claimants as per the award and report to this Court.

Now the learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent submits that steps are being taken for payment of the amount. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondents 1 to 3 produced written instructions dated 31.05.2016 stating that cheques have already been sent to the 4th

respondent-Project Director.

Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to take steps for payment of compensation to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from today. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
