Heard.

The petitioner has initially joined service as casual driver. Later, his services were regularised. As per the seniority and eligibility, he was promoted as Assistant Depot Clerk (ADC) by order, dated 15.11.2011. By proceedings, dated 03.11.2015, the petitioner was further promoted as Depot Clerk. On 06.11.2015, the petitioner submitted representation not to give effect to his promotion and to continue him as ADC. Alleging that the request of the petitioner is not conceded to and is asked to work as Depot Clerk, he filed this Writ Petition. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after institution of the Writ Petition, the petitioner is now posted back as Assistant Depot Clerk and is now working as ADC.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation also submits that the Corporation has no objection to treat him as ADC withdrawing his promotion. Having regard to the said submissions and the fact that the petitioner has made a representation, dated 06.11.2015, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Regional Manager, Anantapur Region, Anantapur District, (the 1st respondent), to pass orders on the said representation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
