HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.22784 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of respondent No.4 in registering the crime against respondent No.5 basing on the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.07.2019 stated to have been sent by Registered Post With Acknowledgment Due on 28.08.2019.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 22.10.2019, submits that based on the complaint made by the petitioner herein, a case was registered in Crime No.354 of 2019 under Section 380 IPC of Kodad Town Police Station on 19.09.2019 and the 4th respondent had taken up investigation into the matter. In view of the said submission made on behalf of the 4th respondent, since the grievance of the petitioner with regard to non-registration of the case based on his complaint dated 20.07.2019 stands redressed, no further orders need be passed in this Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
