THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.4981 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner states that it got a lease from the Gram Panchayat for its fishing activities up to 30-06-2017. When it was undertaking its fishing activities, four (4) persons obstructed them on 06-01-2017 and when they went to Choutuppal Police Station, on 07-01-2017, for giving a complaint, the complaint was not accepted and no action was taken.

In those circumstances, the present writ petition is filed for providing police aid for fishing activities pursuant to an agreement entered by the petitioner with the 4th respondent. Since the grievance of the petitioner is for taking action against the persons who are obstructing the fishing activities the police ought to have accepted the complaint and taken action, in accordance with law. In the circumstances, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the 3rd respondent on 18-02-2017 with a written complaint with regard to their grievance and the 3rd respondent is directed to receive the same and take necessary action, in accordance with law.
