Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: "...

to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein particularly the action of the respondents 2 and 3 herein in interfering with the agricultural operations being conducted by the writ petitioners and the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in harassing the writ petitioners and interfering with the civil disputes and calling them to the police station everyday and pressurizing them to compromise the civil dispute pending between the writ petitioners and the respondents 4 to 9 herein is illegal, arbitrary, highhanded, violative of Articles 19, 21 and also Article 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere with the civil disputes between the writ petitioners and the respondents 4 to 9 and not to interfere with the agricultural operations being conducted by the writ petitioners by pressurizing them to compromise the civil dispute including calling them to the police station in regular intervals."

Respondent No.2 filed a counter stating that respondent No.4 lodged a complaint before them. The said complaint was entered in the general diary and after enquiry, it was revealed that the matter is civil in nature which is forming subject matter of A.S.Nos. 9 and 10 of 2013 pending on the file of this Court. Since the issue relates to civil dispute, respondent No.2 suggested respondent No.4 to approach a Court of law for redressal. It is also stated in the counter that respondent Nos. 1 to 3 never interfered with the civil disputes between the petitioners and respondent Nos. 4 to 9.

Recording the said submission, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
