Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. The main grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is that respondent Nos. 1 to 4 are not considering the representation submitted by the petitioners on 28.04.2021 for issuance of Occupancy Rights Certificate in their favour in respect of the subject lands situated at Bimaram chivara, Endabetla Village, Nagarkurnool District.

Even though both the learned counsel have argued the matter at length, this Court is not inclined to go into the same, as the prayer sought by the petitioner is an innocuous one. However, having regard to the fact that the petitioners are seeking Occupancy Rights Certificate in their favour, as per the provisions of the Telangana Abolition of Inams Act, 1955, and the Rules framed thereunder, the petitioners have to file a claim petition before the competent authority i.e., the Revenue Divisional Officer for issuance of Occupancy Rights Certificate in the prescribed proforma.

As the petitioners have only filed a representation before the respondent authorities, the petitioners are directed to file an appropriate application in the prescribed proforma before the

competent authority within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application being made, the competent authority shall consider the same and pass necessary orders thereon, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law. It is needless to mention that the competent authority, before passing any orders, shall put all the interested parties on notice and afford them an opportunity of hearing. A copy of the order that may be passed by the competent authority shall be communicated to the parties.

Subject to the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
