THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.22636 OF 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in calling the petitioners to Police Station and threatening them to settle the matter with 5th respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard Sri N. Murali Manohar Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. On written instructions dated 21.10.2019, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the 5th respondent in the writ petition gave a complaint to the 4th respondent-Station House Officer, Nallakunta Police Station on 18.06.2019 against the petitioners herein. On receipt of the said complaint, an entry in General Diary was made and enquiry was done. In the course of such enquiry, both the parties were called to the police station and enquired into the matter. Since in the course of investigation, it revealed that the complaint is civil in nature, both the parties were informed the same and closed the complaint on 20.07.2019. It is further submitted that except in the course of enquiry into the said complaint dated 18.06.2019, which stands closed, the petitioners were never called to the police station.

Recording the said submissions made by the Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the writ petition is closed, as no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. However, there shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Applications, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. ___________________ T.
