THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.6023 of 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under Section 438 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.,"), is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No.337 of 2018 of Station House Officer, Patamata Police Station, Vijayawada, Krishna District, registered for the offences under Sections U/s 498-A, 383, 506 and Sections 3 and 4 of D.P. Act, 1961.

Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing the matter for awhile, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, the Police of Patamata Police Station, Vijayawada, Krishna District, are directed to follow the procedure laid by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of UP (referred supra).

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
