This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner/Accused No.2 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Fir No.89 of 2019 on the file of Station House Officer, Asifnagar Police Station, Hyderabad.

On written instructions dated 28.07.022 learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State would submit that though stay was obtained in the present application, subsequently, the parties have entered into compromise and filed Crl.Petition No.137 of 2020 before this Hon'ble Court, whereby this Court had quashed the proceedings. Hence, the prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous. 3.
In view of the aforesaid submission, since the very purpose of filing this criminal petition has already been fulfilled and no cause survives in this criminal petition and thereby the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.
