HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT Writ Petition No.32733 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioner complains against the inaction of the respondents in disposing of the grievance made through the legal notice dated 13.07.2016 in the matter of Roc.No.82/ 2016(SDT) dated 27.06.2016.

3. The Assistant Government Pleader places on record the instructions received in this behalf. The instructions read thus: " ....Thereafter, she filed the present writ petition reiterating the same relief urged in the legal notice dated 13.07.2016.

....The declaration under Section 19(1) of the LA Act will be issued shortly and award enquiry notices will be issued to all the interested persons and it is open to the petitioner to approach the 3rd respondent Land Acquisition Officer along with the documentary evidence she possessed to claim compensation for the 1/ 3rd share in the property.

As alleged by the petitioner the cheques for payment of compensation is not ready for disbursement and after passing of award only the compensation will be paid to the respective land owners as per their entitlement."

4. From the above it is clear, as and when enquiry into the award and payment of compensation is taken up by the respondents, needful will be done by the respondents. The petitioner is given liberty to enclose the copy of this order along with the legal notice dated 13.07.2016 for prompt action by the respondents within two weeks from today.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
